About Product TRANS X, is not a fertilizer or plant nutrient, it is a perfect chelating agent. It chelates and makessoil nutrients avaliableand facilitates their absorptionby plants. Due to high pH level of soil, water soluble compounds generally transform to unsolubleand unabsorbablemetal salts such as metal oxide.Positivelycharged metal ions, such as Zn+2, Mn+2, Cu+2 and Fe+2, readily react with negatively charged hydroxide ions (OH-), making them unavailable to plants. OH- ions are abundant in alkaline or neutral soils and soil-less media. Due to high cation exchange capacity, TRANS X makes metal ions more available for absorption by plants. The ligands within TRANS X coat the metal ion, protecting it from the surrounding OH- ions. The complex can then be easily absorbed by the plant, where it is being degraded and consumed as micronutrients.The strength of the chemical bond between the ligand and the metal ion depends on the type of ligand, the type of ion and the pH. The stronger the bond, the more stable the metallic ion. TRANS X improves stability of chelating.
